This calls for your immediate attention please. Microsoft's BizSpark program and NYEBN will be putting on a great show this coming Monday, Jan. 11th. The event is free for any NYEBN members who are interested in learning how to use technology to develop a viable business plan and the ins and outs of tech startups. Please RSVP now if you are interested! There will be a $10 charge that applies for people not on the RSVP list.

Microsoft gives software and support basically for free, a value of thousands of $$$$! Microsoft(r) BizSpark(tm) is a global program designed to help accelerate the success of early stage startups by providing key resources when they need it the most.


Software - Receive fast and easy access to current full-featured Microsoft development tools, platform technologies, and production licenses of server products for immediate use in developing and bringing to market innovative and interoperable solutions. There is no upfront cost to enroll.


Support - Get connected to Network Partners around the world - incubators, investors, advisors, government agencies and hosters - that are equally involved and vested in software-fueled innovation and entrepreneurship who will provide a wide range of support resources.


Visibility - Achieve global visibility to an audience of potential investors, clients and partners. Topic: The value of leveraging the Microsoft stack, and the success we’ve had helping other companies move to a mature SaaS/S+S model in the cloud with all Microsoft technologies.

7:50 pm - 8:00 pm: Q&A
8:00 pm - 8:20 pm: 2nd BizSpark start-up Presentation (widwi)

Topic: Widwi.com is a place where you can proudly share the results from all of your hobbies and passions. During this session, the founder of Widwi will be presenting the new strategy for the business and is looking for YOUR feedback!

8:20 pm - 8:30 pm: Q&A

    This was a great & informative presentation given by Gunther on behalf of Microsoft. Being a "geek" at heart, I found the tech talk invigorating and a very worthwhile program for new tech startups to consider.

    I think the event was very informational. I like the concept of Microsoft's BizSpark and what it has to offer for Small Business'. I also appreciated the idea of allowing small business to express there company in the spotlight and get feedback from the attendees.
