RSVP LIST WILL BE CLOSED AT NOON TODAY. Please print the page that says RSVP yes and bring it with you. We will not need to check you in if you have that page.

If you are not on the RSVP list you must pay $10 for admission.

Update: This will probably be one of the biggest events ever taking place at NYEBN. You will be able to see a variety of vendors showcasing their products/services. You're welcome to bring guests. If two of them sign up as new members at the event, NYEBN is buying your 1st drink just as usual!


Announcing NYEBN's 1st networking event in March. The Slate venue in NYC will be exclusively available for our members from 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM on Tuesday, March 9th. The venue is spacious, bright and fancy, which is great for the size of our group and our purpose. The managers are very accommodating our needs, which I am extremely grateful of. Although we have lots of room, make sure you RSVP early, because people who RSVP in the last minute tend to only end up on the waiting list. Please read the following carefully:


1. Award Ceremony/Announcement (6:30 - 6:45 PM)

This time slot is designated for the two winners of the February Affiliate program. We will hand out two Microsoft Office Suites ($679.95 each). Thank Microsoft for providing these prizes. Each of the winners will be allowed time to plug their own business. If you are not familiar with February's affiliate program, read it here.


2. Vendors/Sponsors

We have two options for you to participate in this event as our vendors/sponsors.

I. Get a vendor table just as usual.

II. Show your slides on the big screen TV. There are sufficient monitors. Best option is that you have your DVD and we will show your commercial. Contact Susan for details (susan at webstudio13 dot com)

3. Name Tags

The old rule still holds. We will continue to mandate high quality name tags at our networking events. If you don't already have a plastic name tag holder, you will need to purchase one when you check in for $1 each. As you can see from the 230 Fifth pictures, the plastic name tags do look better on everybody.


4. Other important items

I. This is a business networking event. Dress code should be formal and professional.

II. You need to be at least 21 to enter the venue. Bring you ID with you.

III. If you do not want to wait in the line, print out the reminder email (with YES RSVP) or your own RSVP page (a sample) so you can get in immediately.

IV. The time of this event is from 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM

V. I doubt you will play it, but there are pool tables available for our members.

VI. Drink specials available for the group from 6-10 PM.

       Great turnout as usual. Tremendous pportunity to network with professionals in the tri-state area. It is also interesting to meet up with people from outside of the country who drop by as well. One suggestion for everyone is to bring sufficient number of business cards to a networking event such as this. It is not a good business practice to ask for business card when you don't give out your business card. As always, a good venue and the entry process was very smooth and efficient. Kudos to the volunteers who were in charge of the check in.

I am experimenting with different flash settings on my camera to customize the pic. Many of you requested a profile pic. Some of you have the right computer software to download your photo, so you can upload your own profile picture. Please tag the photos to distribute the workload.
