Silicon Alley Battlefield (SAB) Series is a project developed by NY Entrepreneurs Business Network (NYEBN). The series brings VCs, angel investors, startups, and tech enthusiasts together to share knowledge and build their networks. We're building the most effective platform that brings you the best NYC startup events. The winner of SAB 15 will get perks offered by NYEBN. Great presentations and panel discussions. Will attend next time for sure.

Founders/CEOs are at various levels of presenting ability and traction. As with all presentations: If one has 5 min. he/she better be able to articulate an idea WELL onscreen and verbally. Generally good insight from panel; nice comment last night that pitchers need to focus less on hype but more re. financial projections and real, nitty-gritty numbers. Also, for certain audience members, it takes a lot for people to get up and present. Even if you doubt an idea you should still display manners and courtesy, rather than shout snarky comments from the back of the room. It's called Social EQ.
